Paul Paget

The unique opportunity to work in the IT security industry for the past 20 years bringing new technologies and services to the market has been truly rewarding.  I am grateful for the chance to work with the many talented and passionate people in this business.  Most of them remain frustrated that we have a long way to go in security.  Many have ideas for solving problems that will  make it easier for organizations to be more secure.

I have built and helped companies such as Core Security, CyberTrust, Nitro Security, Pwnie Express and others where new technologies solved problems better, simpler and faster than ever before.

I am passionate about helping new technologies and services get to market.  We don't have enough people to keep up with the work of security and that's why security technology and services are so important.  Most organizations get compromised because they make very basic mistakes.  The growing cyber security employment gap projected to be 2 million jobs makes it almost impossible to staff to the level required.  That's why organizations are even paying ransom money to stay operational! Automated technology, services and training more people can help close this gap.   The challenge for developers is to get their solutions noticed, considered and installed!  That's why you need to create a rumble!

The bar is high for sure.  The combination of vendor hype, lack of talent, and relentless adversaries make the challenge substantial. I can be helpful to your organization or team in navigating this challenge.  Please send me an email if you would like to discuss your challenge and explore how I may  be able to help you.
